The Jewish Holocaust Centre is presenting the travelling exhibition ‘Anne Frank – A History for Today’ from the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, seen by millions of people worldwide, from 5 February to 28 April, 2013.
The exhibition highlights the courage of those who assisted the Frank family during the Second World War, a dark period in history, and includes a chronological timeline with an overview of the history of the Holocaust.
This exhibition reflects the story of a young teenager in Holland who maintained her humanity during the desperate circumstances of Nazi Occupation, and has been inspirational to younger generations with its themes of hope and resilience. In Anne’s words:
“When I write I can shake off all my cares, my sorrow disappears, my spirits are revived”.
