Numerous media reports in recent times have highlighted China’s “Little Emperor” syndrome – a generation of Chubby, spoiled children so cradled they cannot tie their own shoe laces – a great example of parents branding their children in a destructive manner. I am afraid this so-called “love” for your child can only develop kids with low self-esteem and an attitude that they “deserve it all”, unfortunately I don’t for a minute think it’s just China.
